After reading a few other reviews, I ordered the Italian Citrus. As soon as you open the bottle the room is flooded with the scent of citrus and romance. I really don’t know how to describe the scent other than to say it is absolutely amazing and very high-class–it makes you feel like you are sailing the Mediterranean on your yacht on a beautiful sunny day.The first time I wore it, my wife stopped dead in her tracks on the way out the door, turned, and said, “Wow, you smell so good.” She lingered by me a few more moments before begrudgingly leaving for work. You will be sure to turn heads if you pick this scent, especially in the summertime.Beyond the female-attracting properties, the aftershave does an awesome job at cooling and toning your skin. The menthol stays cool on your face for nearly 30-45 minutes, and the scent lasts the whole day through.If you are unsure of what fragrance to try, you can go to Mr. Fine’s website and get a sampler pack.*EDIT* Having done the sampler, here is a rundown on the other scents:American Blend–This scent is awesome. It is kind of a cross between Old Spice and Gillette Foamy Shaving Cream. A little spicy but very clean smelling. Several women have complimented this one.Fresh Vetiver–Wow, this is a great scent. Smokey, clean, and refreshing. Again, this one gets the seal of approval from the ladies.Clean Vetiver–I don’t like this one nearly as much as the Fresh Vetiver. There is an added soapy scent that makes this one smell a little muddled.L’Orange Noir–Smells great in the bottle, but crappy on your skin. The scent is VERY heavy. If you like really heavy-handed scents, this one is for you. My wife took one whiff of this one on my and just said, “No.”Savon Lavande–A clean lavender scent, but I don’t like it. This is probably the least manly smelling of the lot

I love this stuff. I got the Platinum first, which is also very good. But if you’re wanting something that doesn’t smell as much as a conventional cologne, I’d recommend this one, especially if you’re looking for a nice “Summer” scent.It comes in some great packaging, and looks nice in the medicine cabinet or on the countertop. When you put it on after a shave, you get the initial alcohol sting (but not too much), followed by a wave of coolness from the menthol, leaving your face feeling toned and refreshed. The citrus smell from the bottle and immediately after application is sort of a “bright” (if that makes any sense lol), sweet, somewhat artificial smell, but that quickly fades to a deeper, slightly spicy citrus aroma that, for me, lasts the majority of the workday, which is nice. I hate it when a nice smell totally fades after an hour or two.So in conclusion, it performs wonderfully as an aftershave, and its scent could work in almost any application. It’s not too strong or obtrusive that you’d get funny looks from people at work, but still leaves that nice citrusy aroma in your wake – Goldilocks.

Hace lo que cualquier loción alcohólica, sin tanto glamour y más barata, es un golpe de alcohol, con un levísimo olor a cítrico, los que dicen que recuerda a Aqua di Parma, debieron de beberlo en lugar de usarlo como aftershave, el hidrolato de hamamelis, es mucho mejor, la única ventaja es que los mezclo y así el hidrolato puro no me huele a infusión de plantas, además el alcohol, aunque se note su trabajo, ya no es tan agresivo con la piel.

My pre shave oil and shave cream are sandalwood and this Italian citrus pares perfectly well with it. My wife says it’s a masterpiece together. It has the nice burn to it so you know it’s disinfecting any cuts and doing its job.One of my favorite colognes I bought when I was in Sicily for €2.50, it’s a citrus cologne made from their famous blood oranges. I wish I bought more of it while I was there because I can’t find it anywhere online now. Even if I did it would probably be 20 times more expensive because they Jack the price up 20 times more when they import anything. My point is you can’t go wrong with any Italian citrus fragrance. They really know what they’re doing with that so just get it.

I was excited to try the Italian citrus aftershave, as I have some other products that are ‘Italian’ citrus scented that I love (by Davines). But, this one smells almost like a sweet orange liquor (the opposite of what I would want). I was hoping for something fresh and bright — this comes off as sickly sweet, and when it dries, leaves a cheap orangey smell (reminded me of maybe an orange soda kinda smell, or cheaply scented orange cleaners). Quite disappointing, as I have a whole bottle now that I won’t be using. I’ll be testing all scented products in stores from now on.

I was excited to try the Italian citrus aftershave, as I have some other products that are ‘Italian’ citrus scented that I love (by Davines). But, this one smells almost like a sweet orange liquor (the opposite of what I would want).
