I was admittedly reluctant to order from a place called “Rachel’s Closeouts” but I am happy to report they rocked it! The order came quickly and well packaged. The item was also factory sealed and “the real deal”. I would order from them again.As for 4711 Cologne: I LOVE this stuff! And this is the first time I have experienced it having only recently learned about it. The scent is amazing, citrusy, refreshing, and has a lot of “wow!” when you splash and /or spritz it on yourself.Yes, the scent is short lasting but the definition of colognes are that they are ‘refreshing waters’ as well as only having 2-4% of the oils/scents/etc. that make it up. So yes, short lived but VERY refreshing! And it is economical enough to put in a spritzer and refresh often. Or just splash it on. WOO HOO! YEAH!!! Ahhhh…Many commenters say 4711 is good for everything. This may be true. I enjoy spritzing it on my towel before taking a shower and it feels like I am at an expensive spa when I dry off with it. I am sure you could use it on cuts, bug bites, etc. for antiseptic relief. It is an equally calming and exhilarating scent. It does make a good room freshener. Sprayed on your pillows before bedtime is relaxing and comforting.I definitely recommend trying this.

A classic revived under new direction from a fifth generation German companyHeavy glass bottle with tight sealing lid in box of same blue and gold graphics.Refreshing splash of citrus that mellows through herbs to white flowers.This is NOT perfume.Other “Eau de”s have deviated from definition of “water” by intensifying scent, trying to associate aggressiveness with superiority. Not quite the quality of true cologne or perfume, they seem comfortable approaching their price.An Eau/Water water was created as a relatively smaller volume of oils in a base of alcohol and water.I splash it on as an after shave. The price point allows this.Invigorating and fresh with citrus. It lingers, lightly, with the herbs and floral. You will not overwhelm others with sharp citrus, deep woods or musk forcing how you smell to be the subject of conversation on greeting.

I’ve been wearing this cologne since the 1980s when I visited Koln (Cologne), Germany, where 4711 is produced. Back then it was mainly sold as a masculine aftershave cologne, but I loved its lemony, tropical scent, so I started “borrowing” it from my husband. Since then it’s sold as a unisex cologne, and, needless to say, I LOVE IT!! So, yeah, 5 stars! Wish I could give it 10*! 👏😊💕
